Aslam Abubaker has been a professional wheelchair Pool player for the last 20 years.
We have helped him along the way for the last 40years and his achievements have always been an inspiration to us.
He fell over and broke his leg in July 2022 but that didn’t stop him from achieving his dreams! Aslam Abubaker has played with both able-bodied and wheelchair players for the last 20 years and makes up part of the 23 wheelchaired players with which he goes to events yearly.
Aslam Abubaker has an array of achievements:
- Playing Wheelchair Pool for 20 years
- Won Four World Championships
- Won the National Championship in February
- Plays against able-bodied and wheelchair players
- Travels and competes against professional players
He is truly an inspiration for us here at Opcare!
