Cambridge - Opcare Clinics

Opcare has worked in partnership with the NHS in Cambridge since 2001 to provide Prosthetic and Orthotic services.  This is a large consultant-led service where we employ the Orthotic, Prosthetic, Technical and Administrative staff to deliver the service to NHS patients.

Cambridge University Hospitals is one of the largest and best known Trusts in the country. As the local hospital for our community, they deliver care through Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals. They are also a leading national centre for specialist treatment, a government-designated comprehensive biomedical research centre, one of only five academic health science centres in the UK and a university teaching hospital with a worldwide reputation. Building on these different elements, their vision is to be one of the best academic healthcare organisations in the world.

The clinic has moved from Addenbrookes Hospital to Chaston House in Shelford. The new clinic is a purpose-built facility that features dedicated parking, an outdoor multi-terrain walking area, paediatric facilities and an onsite prosthetic manufacturing and Gait Lab.
