James Caldwell, Clinical Lead Orthotist in Exeter attended the Devon Diabetes Foot Care Peer Review meeting earlier this week. This was a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting for colleagues across Devon. It was attended by podiatrists, specialist nurses, vascular and othopaedic surgeons and othotists, with the aim of coming together to improve MDT care and overall service provision across the country for our patients.
It was an honour for James to be invited to the meeting and it was great to see the appreciation of the integral part that orthotics and offloading play within the diabetic MDT and for all relevant professions to join together to create an even better service for patients!
