Meet Amy Ford from Opcare Norwich talking about her role as an Apprentice Prosthetic Technician.😀“I love my job! I had never heard of a Prosthetic Technician until I started looking for an engineering role. As soon as I came across it I knew it was perfect for me.
I love that the work is very hands on and I am able to bring out my creative side by making one of a kind sockets for patients. And of course it’s very rewarding knowing I am helping others.
I am really lucky that I also work with the best team at Norwich. Everyone is very supportive of one another and encourages new ideas. We are like a family.
As I am an Apprentice Prosthetic Technician I have also been attending college in Birmingham once a month. I enjoy learning and developing my knowledge in engineering. I am excited about where this will take me in my future with Opcare.”
