“I started with Opcare in 2017 as a graduate in Exeter. I worked through my graduate years supported by the prosthetic team.
The team provided challenges to advance my learning and get me out of my comfort zone which helped me grow in confidence and develop my clinical skills.
My clinical lead supported all learning opportunities which included attending BAPO conference and various training courses at head office.
After completing my graduate years, I was keen to continue advancing my skillset. After discussions with my clinical lead and Dom Hannett, I began getting involved external projects and spent time developing my non-clinical skill set.
In September 2022, I became the Clinical Lead in Exeter. This has been a new, exciting challenge and I have enjoyed looking for areas of improvement locally and expanding knowledge into other areas of the business whilst getting to know other clinical leads across the Opcare Team.”
