Opcare Ltd is pleased to communicate the award of a new three-year contract by NHS Derby & Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (DDICB) to deliver the Derbyshire Community Orthotics Service, starting 1 June 2025.
This collaboration enables access to specialist orthotic care for both adults and children throughout the region. Services will be provided across multiple sites—including Derby, Chesterfield, Buxton, and Alfreton—ensuring comprehensive, accessible, and continuous care for patients across Derbyshire
The new contract will maintain a strong focus on:
- Providing patient-centric, high-quality orthotic assessment and tailored device provision
- Meeting NHS performance targets, including 100% compliance with the 18-week referral-to-treatment standard
- Embedding patient-centric care through integrated working with multidisciplinary teams and community services
- Advancing clinical pathways with innovation and digital workflows to enhance both outcomes and patient experience
