Congratulations to Sophie Mitchell, Paediatric Lead and Deputy Lead of Orthotics at the Opcare Coventry clinic on winning the Rising Star category at this year’s Advanced Healthcare Awards.
The awards recognise the highest standards of practice by allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and pharmacists.
We’re proud of Sophie’s understanding of the social and psychological effect that physical disability can have on patients, her ability to work in a holistic way to help patients achieve their goals, and the fact that she will take on any challenge and not only deliver the outcome required but always exceeds expectations, showing initiative beyond her experience level.
